From download to ready.
Install your coding tool first. Connect manages its connection configuration; it does not include those tools.
Install Connect
macOS: open the DMG and drag Connect to Applications. Windows: use the matching MSI or extract the portable ZIP. Linux: choose the matching DEB, RPM or AppImage; AppImage needs executable permission and system dependencies.
Sign in
Open Account in Connect and sign in with your CodingRouter account. Complete two-factor verification if requested. Registration and other account management are available on the API platform.
Choose your tool and model
Open Quick setup for Claude Code, Codex or Gemini. Select an available token and a model from the returned allowed list. If you need a token, confirm its quota and expiry before creating it.
Review and apply
Check the tool, model, group and configuration being replaced. Confirm to apply. “Configured” means configuration was saved; it is not proof that a paid model request succeeded.
Restore when needed
Open the Restore tool settings / View backups auxiliary entry, inspect a backup and confirm restoration. Backups can contain credentials: keep them private. Other providers remain available through Add provider.
